Vantis Cleaning Services - Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) set out the agreement between Vantis Cleaning Services (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the client (“Customer”, “you”).

By booking our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

 

1. Services Provided

1.1 We provide a range of cleaning services including, but not limited to:

- Domestic cleaning

- End of tenancy cleaning

- After-build cleaning

- Deep cleaning and extreme cleaning

- Commercial cleaning

- Specialist cleaning services (including bio-hazard situations, where agreed)

1.2 Services may be carried out on a one-off or regular basis (weekly, fortnightly, or monthly).

1.3 The exact scope of work will be agreed at the time of booking.

1.4 Standard cleaning does not include specialist or deep cleaning tasks (e.g. oven, carpet, upholstery, external windows, mould removal), unless agreed separately.

 

2. Access & Safety

2.1 The Customer must provide safe and adequate access to the property at the agreed time.

2.2 Customers may provide keys, codes, or alternative access arrangements.

2.3 We will not move heavy furniture, climb ladders, or use unsafe equipment.

2.4 We reserve the right to refuse or stop work if the environment is unsafe.

 

3. Payments & Rates

3.1 Rates will be agreed in writing prior to the service.

3.2 A 50% deposit of the total service cost is required at the time of booking.

3.3 The remaining 50% balance is due upon completion.

3.4 Until the deposit has been received, the booking is not confirmed.

3.5 Prices may be reviewed periodically.

 

4. Booking Confirmation

4.1 A booking is only confirmed once it has been accepted by us and the required deposit has been received.

4.2 We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking at our discretion.

 

5. Cancellations & Refund Policy

5.1 No refunds will be provided if the service is cancelled by the Customer.

5.2 The deposit will be retained in full.

5.3 Same-day cancellations or failure to provide access may result in full charge.

5.4 If we cancel, we will reschedule or offer an alternative.

6. Customer Responsibilities

6.1 Property must be safe and utilities available.

6.2 Pets must be secured.

6.3 Cleaning equipment provided unless agreed otherwise.

6.4 No cleaning in properties with infestations.

 

7. Liability & Insurance

7.1 We hold public liability insurance.

7.2 We are not liable for pre-existing damage or wear and tear or unsuitable materials.

7.3 Claims must be reported within 24 hours.

7.4 No liability for items under £100.

7.5 We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of income, business, or opportunity.

7.6 We are not liable for failure or delay in performing our obligations where this is due to events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, weather, transport issues, or emergencies.

8. Confidentiality

8.1 Customer data is confidential.

9. Photography & Marketing

9.1 We may take photographs of the property before, during, and after the service for quality control, training, and marketing purposes.

9.2 These images will not include identifiable personal information or individuals unless explicit consent has been provided.

9.3 By booking our services, you consent to the use of such images for marketing and promotional purposes, including use on our website and social media channels.

9.4 If you do not wish for images of your property to be used, you must notify us in writing prior to the service being carried out.

10. Customer Satisfaction

10.1 Notify within 24 hours if dissatisfied.

11. Termination

11.1 Either party may terminate regular cleaning services with 4 weeks written notice.

12. Governing Law

12.1 UK law applies.

13. Changes to Terms

13.1 We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The latest version will apply at the time of booking.
